As our Global Content Editor, you’ll seek out Pizza Hut’s greatest stories and determine the best ways to share them on our new brand blog, through social media or whichever channel suits them best. You’ll do this by acting as a Pizza Hut brand reporter and Editor in Chief, interacting with teams across the globe and in the U.S. to learn what they’re up to and then collaborating with employee contributors, our Communications, PR, and Social Media teams to craft content that communicates our brand story and culture, inside and out. Your background in brand journalism, writing or content strategy will help you source, shape and share stories that provide a window into the flavorful world of Pizza Hut.

As Global Content Editor, you will:

    - Stay plugged-in to Pizza Hut happenings around the world and write stories about them
    - Cajole associates from around the world to contribute stories (which you will then edit)
    - Create a content strategy and calendar
    - Partner with the social media team to efficiently streamline and coordinate content that is disseminated
    - Oversee blog editorial team and track submissions
  • Demonstrate expertise in social community platforms, including, but not limited to:
    • Publishing best practices
    • Keeping a pulse on evolving platform changes
    • Proactively identify and recommend actions related to observations, opportunities, and insights
  • Monitor and moderate our blog community

    - A team player: if someone needs help, you are the first one on the scene. You’re more than willing to lend a hand and share your know-how

EDUCATION: Bachelor Degree required (Journalism preferred)
EXPERIENCE (and other qualifications):

    - Demonstrated experience developing and executing communications strategy and processes
    - Proven project management and organizational skills
    - Experience in building both internal and external business relationships to deliver on project plans
    - Expert problem-solver adept at finding better ways to develop and manage processes
    - Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects, tight deadlines and changing priorities
    - Ability to write in various tones, including business, organizational change, employee engagement and functional topics; experience with “storytelling” through varying channels
    - Solid PC skills (Word/Excel/PowerPoint)
    - Ability to think visually: Photoshop skills a plus
    - An interest in and experience writing content for blogs
    - Overall eagerness and enthusiasm
    - Comfort with the fast pace of internet publishing
    - Established social media presence a plus
    - A positive, inquisitive and fun personality (haters need not apply)
