PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

A unique general management opportunity stewarding our great Yum! Brands in one or more channels of non-traditional business. This position provides the opportunity to develop a business plan and drive results by developing our Express concepts with new clients, providing sales and customer support to existing key accounts, and ensuring net positive development of our brands. POSITION FUNCTIONS

1. Assist in development of annual financial plan for assigned channels and ensure those plans are met/exceeded. Activities include lead development and selling among existing and prospective accounts, and license process management (opens and renewals).

2. Develop, and grow productive senior and middle level relationships (VP, director, senior manager) within key accounts in assigned channels.

3. Manage development pipeline information to ensure accuracy in forecasting capabilities.

4. Provide input into strategy development for assigned channels.

The, Food Safety Specialist oversees all of the Food Safety functions for the Long John Silver?s and A&W Restaurants to ensure highly disciplined compliance with all food safety and sanitation standards, systems, practices, policies and procedures that will assure product quality and safety of our products for our restaurants and customers. This position will serve as the Crisis Core Team Leader for the brands; approve the cleaning chemicals and supplies, monitor high risk foods, coordinate product withdrawals/recoveries for food products, chemicals or other items, and represent the food safety function in cross- branded functions and franchise boards. This position will manage the Standards Exception Testing (SET) program for LJS and A&W; over see product quality cuttings and billing; seafood certifications, Certified Professional Food Manager (CPFM) program and training, and Food Standards Consultation (FSC) and Champs Excellence Review (CER) program content and specialist training. This position will provide technical support and solutions focused towards operations, by providing leadership in quality enhancement, operations, communications and program improvements. Additionally, this position is also responsible for keeping up to date on Food Safety issues, laws and regulatory (local/state/federal) requirements to ensure compliance.

JOB FUNCTIONS:

· Respond to food safety crisis, regulatory issues, communicable/food borne/allergy complaints and investigations and direct product recoveries and withdrawals.

JOB FUNCTIONS:

Strategic Leadership 30%

1. Establish infrastructure system strategies and resulting standards and best practices across YRI and direct field infrastructure technology assessments for application in our markets.

2. Provide specific infrastructure functional expertise through consultative support for both equity and franchise markets in their execution of infrastructure technology projects.

3. Provide business analysis, measurement and reporting using internal test data as well as independent external industry sources through research and development to assess ROI for technology investments.

Infrastructure Design and Project Execution 25%

1. Direct a team including direct reports as well as extended internal and external matrixed resources to complete global infrastructure projects and services from initiation through delivery ensuring completion of assigned objectives on schedule and within budget constraints.

2. Consult with business function customers to create functional business specifications and resulting technical requirements as well as identify, evaluate, and recommend potential solutions and vendors across all markets as well as division-level functions across all infrastructure disciplines (platform, networking, voice/data services).

3. Work with Yum Global IT and the YRI IT Architecture team and third-party vendors to design and build solutions.

4. Assist the BMU/FBU markets with technical evaluations and approval from local management and YRI IT.

Technology Leadership and Production Support 20%

1. Provide organizational design and execution for complete 24x7x365 technical support coverage for production systems, local and wide area networks, and security processes.

2. Serve as issue escalation point and key decision maker for all YRI Headquarter RSC users and all BMU/FBU users.

3. Lead evaluation of change management processes that are implemented globally to minimize impact to the extended international business.

Budget/Vendor Management 20%

1. Develop and be accountable for the relationship with and provide global management of strategic technology vendors (Oracle for JDE Enterprise1, Cisco, Microsoft, Symantec, IBM, Orange, etc.) including negotiation and management of multi-million $ global agreements.

2. Direct financial process execution for budgeting (including market cross-charges for contracts centrally managed from YRI), estimation, negotiation, and procurement of hardware/software and services.

Security 5%

1. Assist in design and delivery of global intrusion detection systems, firewalls, remote access security points, security gateway devices (security proxy, virus protection, Internet content filtering), wireless security and encryption solution support.

2. Work with Yum Global IT and other shared service teams to develop and implement corporate cyber security policies and processes. This includes acceptable use, privacy and monitoring, sensitive information handling, incident response, cyber security forensics, investigations, and audit reporting.
